One of the newest product in the family, this premium gin is distilled in 3 small batches to ensure that all ingredients are infused in this unique gin.
The first distillation utilizes a combination of 5 herbs which gives the gin its base. The second distillation, is intensified with 3 herbs that gives this gin a "twist" to give its distinct "personality".
Finally, the last distillation is the "Greek aspect" which uses mastiha as its last distillation as its finishing touch. Mastiha is the resin gathered from the Mastic tree and it has heavy "licorice" flavoured taste. This gin, is refreshing and has a clean crisp finish.
Grande Reserve Brandy is a great value for its quality, the difference is the wine used has been aged between 7 and 10 years in French oak caskets before distillation.
Absolutely comparable to the XO, with only a slight difference and most likely discernable to those with a very refined pallate.
Brandy Alexander is one of the few spirits that have originated from Greece and has been bestowed world-wide acclaim from its first presentation at the International Exhibition whereby it received an "Honourable Mention" to its Gold Medal win in the Paris Exhibition in 1900.
In addition, the company was awarded in the same year the Silver Cross of the Royal Knights of Order for its service in representing Greek industry domestically and abroad.
Brandy Alexander’s base is on red wines that have been aged for at least 20 years and are found regionally. Its distinct sweetness is embellished in this soft and elegant brandy that follows with a smooth and balanced finish – typical to brandies made with fortified wines in Greece.
